The FBM flaskless molding machines use the system of top and bottom blow that enables the use of pattern plates with complex figure, well defined profiles, of high precision and with profound cavities, since, once the sand is blown in right angle in direction to the separation surface, allowing a wider utilization of the pattern plate surface and a better arrangement of the patterns.
Thus the FBM series of machines offers a great number of advantages to the users, besides enabling the production of high precision molds using practically any kind of molding sand.
The FBM machines are available in three types, what enables a very good selection of equipment, according to the respective working conditions, the characteristic and nature of the products, as well as the production goals of each foundry.

1 station Molding Machine FBM-I: |
Compact machine destined to execute / develop the whole molding process as the mold production, core setting, mold closing, pattern stripping, sand mold taking out, all this in an unique workstation.

2 station Molding Machines FBM-IIT / FBM-IIIT: |
Molding machine where a station is destined to the mold molding or production, and another to the core setting, mold closing, pattern stripping and mold taking out.

High-speed machine with 4 stations. One to mold molding or production, two to core setting, and another for pattern stripping from the mold and mold taking out.

Basic characteristics of the FBM machines – Summary

- It is adopted the system of top and bottom blow. This allows the adequate molding of the cavities and saliences, with high precision.
- The squeeze occurs in both flasks, cope and drag, allowing the homogeneous hardness in the two flasks.
- The high pressure squeeze allows the production of molds with high hardness and better moldability.
- Easy choice of squeeze pressure and height of the mold, through the selector key.
- As operations such as sand quantity measurement, molding, pattern stripping, flask setting, taper flask setting and mold pushing, as well as pattern change, are automatically done and the heavy work performed by the operator is eliminated.
- Easy core setting.
- The equipment foundation is simple, without need to open ditches / “pit”.
- There is no ramming mechanism. This gives a low vibration and noise level, improving the working environment conditions.
- There is no hydraulic unit.
