From the pouring area the poured molds are transported to the cooling line. After solidification of the castings and cooling the molds advance to the shake-out station. The flask is then pressed out of the box and the casting is separated from the sand.
In specially confined conditions a cod cooled can be allocated to the cooling line. There the cods, distributed over several tiers, are stored in cooling trucks before reaching the separating grid.
THE POURING
The ready-to-pour molds are transported to the pouring line. There, pouring is carried through. The length of the pouring line depends on the kind of the used pouring equipment.
