The SINTO Pneumatic Sand Regenerator, type PNR, recovers the used sand, making it ready to be reused. This is processed by blowing the sand inside an air tube, at high speed, and squashing the grains of sand against a special screen, so as to turn uniform the grain size, through collision and attrition, and removing the layers formed in the grain surface.
This regenerated sand has almost identical properties to those of the new sand. Moreover, the sand grains acquire the round shape and the sand acquires larger fluidity, requiring, this way, the addition of less binding material.
In consequence, the initial investment for the equipment acquisition can be amortized in a very short time period.
